Happy 4th of July!

So sorry it’s been a while since my last post!  Pool season arrived, and I have found myself busy, and little time to post!  So, I would first like to say Thank You to all of our customers for your business and your support!  We really appreciate it.  We love seeing you all summer long!

Another great product that we have for a green pool is Smart Pool’s Sunheater. These systems are great for both inground and above ground pools and use the sun to heat the pool water. Combine a Sunheater with a Solar blanket or a solar pill for maximum heat retention and evaporation prevention! A very smart way to heat your pool that needs no gas or propane. Don’t have a solar blanket at all? Solar blankets not only retain heat, but prevent evaporation. By using a solar blanket, you can reduce water loss which prevents adding fill water on a regular basis!

And, for a St. Patty’s Day Freebie, here is a Great Big Green Egg Recipe.
I chose this recipe because who knows, Daddy Pat could just be St. Pat!

Daddy Pat’s Shake and Grill Firecracker Wings

2 ½ lbs. chicken whole wings

Firecracker Mix
2 Tbs. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 ½ tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. black pepper

Fold wings tips under the opposite ends to form triangles
Place Firecracker Mix in a re-sealable plastic bag. Add chicken to the mix and shake until chicken is coated.
Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, but no longer than 24 hours. The heat level intensifies the longer you marinate.
Set the EGG up for a direct cook and grill chicken at 350-375 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 30 minutes.
Serving Suggestions: traditional celery and carrots and a small bowl of sour cream sprinkled with paprika.
